Minister of Education Approves Results of Second-Term Technical Diploma Examinations
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, today approved the results of the second-term technical diploma examinations for the 2024/2025 academic year, with a pass rate of 89.88%.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the smooth running of the written, practical, and laboratory examinations for the second-term technical diplomas, which were held from August 9 to August 21, 2025, in 383 examination committees.
The Minister reviewed the most prominent features of the results as follows:
- 204,761 students took the exams in all categories (industrial, agricultural, commercial, and hotel). The number of students present was 204,351. The total number of successful students was 183,666, representing 89.88%, as shown below:
First: Technical Secondary Schools - Three-Year System:
* The number of students present in commercial education was 45,286, with 40,519 passing, representing 89.47%.
* The number of students present in hotel education was 1,944, with 1,828 passing, representing 94.03%.
* The number of students present in agricultural education was 25,444, with 22,669 passing, representing 89.09%. The number of students attending industrial education was 70,871, with 64,345 passing grades, representing 90.79%.
The total number of students passing grades in all categories was 129,361, representing 90.12%.
Second: Technical Secondary Schools for Dual Education and Training - Three-Year System:
The number of students attending dual education and training (commercial, hotel, agricultural, and industrial) was 1,523, with 1,467 passing grades, representing 96.32%.
Third: Technical Secondary Schools - Three-Year System - Implementing the Vocational Competencies Methodology:
The number of students attending all categories (commercial, hotel, agricultural, and industrial) was 24,382, with 22,494 passing grades, representing 92.26%.
Fourth: Technical Secondary Schools for Applied Technology:
* The number of students attending Applied Technology (Commercial, Hotel, Agricultural, Industrial) was (614) male and female students – with a success rate of (608), representing 99.02%.
Fifth: Technical Secondary Schools – Three-Year System – Vocational Preparation:
* The number of students attending Vocational Preparation (Hotel, Agricultural, Industrial) was (30,982), with a success rate of (26,599), representing 85.85%.
Sixth: Advanced Technical Secondary Schools – Five-Year System:
* The number of students attending Advanced Commercial Education was (159), with a success rate of (152), representing 95.60%.
* The number of students attending Advanced Hotel Education was (682), with a success rate of (657), representing 96.33%. * The number of students attending Advanced Agricultural Education was (132) male and female students - and the number of successful students was (128), representing a percentage of 96.97%.
* The number of students attending Advanced Industrial Education was (848) male and female students - and the number of successful students was (812), representing a percentage of 95.75%.
The total number of successful students in all categories was (1,749) male and female students - representing a percentage of 96.05%.
Seventh: Technical Secondary Schools - Three-Year System - Educational Integration:
* The number of students attending in all categories was (1,483) male and female students - and the number of successful students was (1,388), representing a percentage of 93.59%.
