The Ministry of Education Launches New Applied Technology Schools in the Electricity Sector
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, under the leadership of Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, is taking new steps to expand its Applied Technology Schools in various specializations, in cooperation with national and international ministries, agencies, and institutions. This will open up broad horizons for students to acquire advanced practical skills that meet the needs of the labor market. Through the Applied Technology Schools Operations and Management Unit, the Ministry announces the addition of new schools in the electricity sector.
The launch of these schools comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and the Nuova Tecnologia di Lava Academy in Italy. They include:
- The Group of Electricity Schools for Applied Technology in Alexandria.
- The Group of Electricity Schools for Applied Technology in Assiut.
- The Group of Electricity Schools for Applied Technology in Ismailia.
- The Group of Electricity Schools for Applied Technology in Cairo - Helwan.
- The Group of Electricity Schools for Applied Technology in Cairo - Sayeda Zeinab.
The Ministry notes that preparatory school students for the 2024/2025 academic year who wish to enroll in these schools can apply by registering within a week from today via the following link:
Students who have obtained an Al-Azhar preparatory school certificate, students who obtained a general preparatory school certificate last year, 2023/2024, Egyptian students returning from abroad, and incoming (foreign) students can also register via the following link:

The Ministry emphasizes that this approach is complemented by effective partnerships, which open broad horizons for students to acquire advanced practical skills that meet the needs of the labor market in various fields.
