The Minister of Education Receives the Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration)

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received today at the Ministry's headquarters Eng. Hatem Nabil, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration. This comes as part of the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry and the Agency to meet the educational process's need for qualified personnel.

In this context, the two parties agreed to announce the results of the competition to fill 20,000 English language assistant teacher positions today, via the government jobs portal website.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif emphasized that this competition represents an important step in supporting the development of education in Egypt, particularly in English language. He emphasized the Ministry's commitment to providing highly qualified teachers, which will positively impact the educational process.

The Minister commended the efforts of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, headed by Engineer Hatem Nabil, in preparing and implementing the central competition system efficiently and transparently, stressing that this system ensures the selection of qualified applicants. He also expressed his appreciation for the agency's rapid response in meeting the ministry's needs for qualified human resources.

For his part, Engineer Hatem Nabil affirmed that the Central Agency for Organization and Administration is committed to meeting the needs of various administrative bodies for qualified personnel, noting that the recruitment competition process is conducted according to objective controls and standards that achieve the principles of fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all applicants.

The head of the agency revealed the activation of the new mechanism for announcing the results of the competition to fill 20,000 English language assistant teachers, which the agency recently began implementing. This mechanism allows applicants who passed the electronic exam but whose ranking among successful candidates exceeded the number required to fill the positions in their governorates the opportunity to qualify for the next stage of the competition in other governorates that have not yet filled the required number of positions.

He pointed out that the Authority allowed these applicants the freedom to choose a governorate from among the available governorates to fill one of the vacant positions. Applicants must rank the available governorates on the Government Jobs Portal website according to their preferences.

He explained that the results were announced today on the portal website, and that those who wish to submit grievances will be able to do so from June 13 to the 26th of the same month. The application process will open tomorrow, June 13, and will continue until July 27th.

Engineer Hatem Nabil added that if a number of applicants have the same grades, the rules stipulated in Article (4) of the Executive Regulations of Chapter Seven of the Education Law, issued by Prime Ministerial Decree No. 428 of 2013 and amended by Prime Ministerial Decree No. 165 of 2025, will apply. These rules stipulate that in the event of a tie, applicants will be ranked according to the following order:

1. The highest ranked applicant in the qualification required to fill the position.
2. The highest ranked applicant in the same rank.
3. The most qualified.
4. The oldest graduate.
5. The oldest.

The head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration emphasized that this new mechanism provides a fair opportunity for applicants who passed the electronic exam to fill positions in other governorates. It also contributes to quickly meeting the Ministry of Education's needs to fill the gap in governorates that have not met the required number of applicants. This stems from a belief in the vital role of education in building human capital and achieving the sustainable development strategy "Egypt Vision 2030."
