The Ministry of Education reviews the report of the operating room on the seventh day of the first round exams

This morning, high school students in its literary and scientific sections took the exams for the first round of the high school completion certificate for the current academic year 2023/2024. The students in the scientific section took the exam in chemistry with a total of (515,711), and the students in the literary section took the exam in geography with a total of 515,711 students. Students from schools for the blind also took the exam in the first period in the subject of philosophy, and in the second period they took the exam in the subject of logic, with a total number of (255) male and female students.

Dr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, was keen to follow up on the high school exams, first round, through the Ministry’s central operations room, where he was reassured about the progress of the exam process in all governorates.

Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister and Head of the General Secondary School Examinations, emphasized the follow-up of all stages of work in the high school exams, starting with printing the questions, then transferring them to the exam booklet distribution centers, then the exam conduct committees, and the system and monitoring committees.

Members of the anti-electronic fraud team in the Central Operations Room were able to monitor 4 cases of cheating, as a student in a committee in the East Zagazig Educational Administration in the Sharkia Governorate, and another student in a committee in the Basyoun Educational Administration in the Gharbia Governorate, were arrested during the publication of one of the parts of the chemistry exam questions on social networking sites. The used phone devices and headphones were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against these aforementioned students, and Ministerial Resolution No. (34) of 2018 regarding regulating the circumstances of exam cancellation and deprivation, and Law No. (205) of 2020 regarding combating acts of disruption in exams, were implemented.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stresses that students should not use any of the various cheating methods, stressing that it will confront any cheating attempts and take legal measures regarding any violations that occur in the exams.

It is worth noting that high school students are scheduled to take the first round exam on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, where students in the scientific section (science) take the exam in geology and environmental sciences, and students in the scientific section (mathematics) take the exam in pure mathematics (algebra and geometry). Vacation), while students of the Literary Division take the exam in psychology and sociology.
