"Education" announces the names of the winning students in the Science and Engineering Competition 2023 (Isef))

Under the auspices of Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, today the Ministry of Education and Technical Education honored the winning students in the 2023 Science and Engineering Competition (Isef), through a ceremony organized by the General Administration for E-Training of the Central Administration for Education Technology, in Education City, 6th of October.

This comes within the framework of the Ministry's interest in developing creative innovation skills, disseminating and promoting scientific research and systematic science and technology techniques among students, in line with the Ministry's efforts to build an integrated system, to nurture and discover talented students in various fields.

Wael Yahya Shukrallah, Director General of the General Administration of E-Training, said that this competition is one of the strongest international competitions in the field of science and engineering for researchers from high school students, and it has been implemented for more than 10 years, and it is also one of the largest scientific competitions, and that this competition depends on owning Scientific research skills to reach a new project that contributes to solving a problem in one of the scientific fields by following the correct scientific research methodology, and that the winners are nominated to participate in the international competition that includes more than 80 countries around the world.

More than three thousand students participated in the introductory exhibitions that were held at the level of the departments of the educational directorates, through which 283 projects were escalated. 95 projects were selected to participate in the final qualifiers, which were held in Education City on the 6th of October, and 9 group projects were promoted, and 18 students were nominated, to represent the Arab Republic of Egypt in the International Competition (ISEF) in the United States of America.

The winning students are as follows: student Ahmed Ayman Mohamed, and student Mohamed Sabry Abdel Samie, at the Outstanding School of Science and Technology in Sadat, in the field of medical engineering.

In the field of psychological and behavioral sciences, two projects for students, Sama Muhammad Fathi, the student Shahd Muhammad Fathi, the student Rahma Wael Suleiman, and the student Basmalah Khaled Ahmed, won at the School of Excellence for Science and Technology in Sharkia.

The student Muhammad Ahmed Hassan and the student Jana Ahmed Hassan won the School of Excellence in Science and Technology in Obour in the field of materials science.

Student Ahmed Atef Mohamed, School of Excellence in Science and Technology in Sadat, and student Farida Fathi Mohamed, Al-Farouq Islamic Language School, won in the field of earth and environmental sciences.

The student Yassin Mustafa Alawi and the student Abdullah Muhammad Saad won the School of Excellence in Science and Technology in Beni Suef in the field of medicine and health.

The student, Ibram Wadih Nabi, and the student, Noureddine Shaaban Abdel Aziz, won the School of Excellence in Science and Technology in Sharkia in the field of physical energy.

In the field of robotics, students Mohamed Hamada Fahmy and Youssef Hassan Mohamed won at the School of Excellence for Science and Technology in Obour.

In the field of embedded systems, students Lubna Walid Muhammad and Heba Walid Hosni won the School of Excellence in Science and Technology in Maadi.

At the end of the ceremony, the winning students were honored and presented with certificates of appreciation and urged them to research and create.
