Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, participated today, Monday, in the activities of the first session of the World Education Forum 2024 in London, which will be held during the period from May 19 to 22, in the presence of 122 ministers of education from around the world, and organized by the British Council in the United Kingdom. ; With the aim of setting priorities and developing the necessary measures to make education stronger and improve its contribution to building a better world.

Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed, in his intervention during the first session, that education for the future is an important matter in light of the industrial revolutions and digital transformation, pointing out that education is no longer just about obtaining achievement grades for success, but must focus on sustainable skills and knowledge, and for the child to be able On lifelong learning.

Dr. Reda Hegazy explained that using artificial intelligence does not mean dispensing with the teacher, but rather means integrating artificial intelligence into the educational program. To help the teacher perform his work and empower him, and thus we do not lose the humanization of education.

The minister pointed out that students who have difficulty reading and writing represent a great challenge, noting that if a child has difficulty reading and writing, he cannot learn the rest of the subjects, stressing the role of the teacher who must possess diagnostic skills and be able to identify common errors in the child. He developed treatment, especially in the first years of education, which are called the golden years of early childhood, noting that the Egyptian Ministry of Education is making many efforts in cooperation with many local and international bodies to improve reading and writing among students in the first foundational years of education.

The first session of the forum witnessed a number of speeches on how to improve education and advance recovery.
