The Minister of Education holds a video conference meeting with the directors of education

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a video conference meeting with the directors of education directorates across all governorates. This meeting is part of his commitment to ensuring the smooth running of the 2024/2025 high school exams, providing a disciplined, safe, and appropriate examination environment for students, and enhancing proactive measures to ensure the success of the exams.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister; Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Minister; Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up and Supervisor of the Central Administration for Minister's Office Affairs; Mr. Khaled Abdel Hakam, General Director of Examinations and Head of the Central Administration for Education Directorates Affairs; and Mr. Walid El-Fakharany, Head of the Central Administration for Educational Technology.
During the meeting, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif thanked the directors of the education directorates for their tangible efforts and meticulous follow-up, which contributed to the smooth running of the high school exams over the past few days. He noted that the discipline and commitment achieved are the result of sincere cooperation and efforts that deserve praise.
The Minister emphasized the need to continue the exams until their conclusion at the same level, or even better, while also working with greater decisiveness, discipline, focus, and responsibility to ensure that the exams proceed in a manner befitting our students and the educational system, and to provide a suitable environment for students to take the exams.

The Minister also emphasized the importance of technology development officials monitoring the cameras inside exam halls, alerting committee heads to the need for observers to enter the halls before students do, ensuring the effective operation of the camera system inside the halls, and immediately addressing any problems that may arise within the halls. He emphasized that he personally monitors the cameras from the Ministry's central operations room before the start of each exam to ensure readiness and discipline.
The Minister reiterated his directive to prohibit any delay in the distribution of exam papers or concept booklets under any circumstances, and to make up for any delays under the direct supervision of the directors of the education directorates, in implementation of clear ministerial instructions in this regard.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif emphasized the Ministry's commitment to supporting the education directorates in dealing with various situations, providing them with all legal and procedural support, and taking the necessary measures to ensure that exams proceed in accordance with the laws and regulations, while adhering to the highest levels of discipline and integrity, ensuring fairness and equal opportunities for students.
