Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, inspected the working groups, discussed the plan’s priorities, and listened to the opinions of students and teachers, within the framework of the second community dialogue event on the strategic plan of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education (2024-2029), in cooperation with “UNICEF.” Egypt, Luxor Governorate.

The Minister inspected the working groups that discussed priorities related to the axes of access and participation, equity and inclusion, quality of learning and teaching, and governance and management.

The Minister also held a dialogue with the working groups about the mechanism for achieving each axis, summarizing the results and formulating proposals, where the Minister listened to a review of the concluding remarks and proposals for the community dialogue on the strategic plan.

The Minister also listened to the opinions of a number of students participating in the community dialogue about the educational system, and their vision of the Ministry’s plan, as one of the students praised the accuracy and transparency in grading the high school exams this year, and that every student got his due.

Another student suggested that activities be compulsory, not optional, and that education be made fun and that school be attractive to him, while another student suggested increasing interest in discovering gifted people. Another student also suggested that there be more than one exam throughout the year to determine the student’s level, as the Minister praised the opinions of Students and their performance in presenting visions and proposals.

The Minister also listened to the opinions of a group of teachers and workers in the field of education who expressed their happiness at the presence of such community dialogue in Luxor Governorate, praising the efforts of Dr. Reda Hegazy in developing the educational process and paying attention to the issues and problems of teachers.

In conclusion, the Minister thanked all those present for their commitment and responsibility, appreciating their efforts, indicating that all recommendations of the working groups and proposals will be taken into account. To be part of the strategic plan.
