The Ministry of Education announces the start of grievances for high school students)

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the start of grievances for high school students affected by their results in the first round of the General Secondary Education Certificate exam for the 2024/2025 academic year. Starting Sunday, July 27, 2025.

The appeals period for first-term exam results will be open for fifteen days, beginning Sunday, July 27, 2025, and ending Sunday, August 10, 2025.

The Ministry clarified that the mechanisms, controls, and procedures for students to appeal their results are as follows:

First: Steps for submitting appeals:

- Pay EGP 300 (three hundred Egyptian pounds) for each subject for which the student wishes to submit a grievance through the Ministry of Education and Technical Education's approved collection outlets (Egypt Post, Fawry, e-Finance) to the account of the Education Projects Support and Financing Fund.

- Submit applications, specify subjects, and review dates electronically through the following link, which will be operational starting Sunday:

Second: Procedures for Grievances:

- The student must attend the grievances office alone or with their guardian. The subject teacher is not permitted to accompany them.

- The student must be present on the specified date for review. Those who fail to attend must not submit a request again.

- Submit a clear photocopy of the student's and guardian's national ID cards.

- A copy of the answer sheet (bubble sheet or essay paper) will be reviewed, along with the answer sheet.

- The student reviews the answers and compiles the grades according to the grade distribution on the answer sheet. The student records their comments in the designated space.

Second: Procedures to be followed after the answers are reviewed by the relevant technical committees:

- If the student's grades are modified, the student will be notified of the outcome of the grievance and the fees will be refunded.

- Memoranda of increase will be approved by the General Examination Chairperson or the General Examination Vice-Chairperson.

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education shall take the necessary measures to notify the Ministry of Higher Education (University Admissions Coordination Office) of the student’s result after the amendment.
