The Minister of Education continues to follow up on the regularity of the educational process
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, conducted a surprise inspection tour this morning of several schools affiliated with the Wasti and Nasser Education Administrations in Beni Suef Governorate; This is within the framework of continuing to follow up on the regularity of the educational process throughout the Republic.
The Minister was accompanied during his tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.
The Minister began his tour by visiting schools affiliated with the Wasti Education Administration, where he inspected the "Saadawi Mujahid Abdel-Ghani Secondary School", which includes 499 male and female students. During his inspection of the school's classes, he was keen to check on the level of students there, and follow up on the rates of attendance and absence. He also reviewed the students' performance during the previous month's tests.
Following that, the Minister inspected the "Al-Masloub Mixed Primary School", which has 1,017 students, divided into morning and evening shifts, where he followed up on the students' level in reading and writing, and also followed up on the treatment plan for the students' level in mathematics and the extent of students' commitment to class notebooks and school assignments.
Then the Minister headed to the "Maasara Abu Sir New Primary School", which has 298 students, where during his inspection of the school, he was keen to follow up on the students' attendance rates, and review the students' grades registration books in the weekly assessments; to ensure the level of academic achievement.
The Minister then headed to several schools affiliated with the Nasser Education Administration, where he inspected the "Al-Hamam Mixed Preparatory School", which has 618 students.
During his inspection of the classes, the Minister was keen to follow up on the students' attendance rates in each class, class notebooks and school assignments, and he was also keen to ensure their comprehension of the academic materials.
The Minister also held a dialogue with some of the students at the school about their academic achievement capabilities within the school and the extent to which they benefited from the weekly assessments, stressing that the application of these assessments contributes to the student knowing his academic level and his achievement of lessons first hand.
Following that, the Minister headed to the "Al-Hamam Secondary Mixed School", which has 218 male and female students, where the Minister was keen to check the students' academic level, follow up on the attendance and absence rates, and discuss with the students their future aspirations.
