The Minister of Education issues a ministerial decision to promote 3,886 teachers

Dr. Reda Hijazi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued Ministerial Resolution No. (81) on 4/16/2023 promoting (3886) teachers in various governorates.

The decision stipulates that, as of 1/1/2023, members of the Education Authority who hold the positions of teachers, and the corresponding positions of social workers, psychologists, technology specialists, journalism and media specialists, and librarians who have completed the training programs held by the Professional Academy for Teachers - a certificate The authority necessary for promotion to a higher position in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (155) of 2007, its amendments, and its executive regulations, and their number is (3886).

The decision also stipulated that the governors, each within his jurisdiction, issue the decisions necessary to promote the members of the education staff mentioned in this decision to the higher positions entitled to each of them after verifying that they fulfill the rest of the promotion requirements, provided that the promoted are granted the legally prescribed appropriation allowance, and the promotion allowance, as of the first The month following the issuance of the relevant governor’s decision on promotion. The decision concluded that all concerned authorities, each within their jurisdiction, must implement this decision.
