The Ministry of Education announces the commencement of grievances for high school students
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announces the commencement of grievances for high school students affected by their results in the second-round examination for the General Secondary School Completion Certificate for the 2024/2025 academic year. This process will begin today, Sunday, August 31, 2025, and will continue until Thursday, September 4, 2025.
The Ministry clarified that the mechanisms, controls, and procedures for students to file grievances regarding their results are as follows:
First: Steps for filing grievances:
- Pay EGP 300 (three hundred Egyptian pounds) for each subject the student wishes to file a grievance regarding through the Ministry of Education and Technical Education's approved collection outlets (Egyptian Post, Fawry, e-Finance) to the account of the Education Projects Support and Financing Fund.
- Submit applications, specify subjects, and review dates electronically through the following link, starting today, Sunday, August 31, 2025:
Second: Procedures for Grievances:
- The student must appear at the grievances office alone or with their guardian. The subject teacher is not permitted to accompany them.
- The student must be present on the specified date for review. Those who fail to attend are not entitled to resubmit a request.
- Submit a clear photocopy of the student's and guardian's national ID cards.
- A copy of the answer sheet (bubble sheet or essay paper) will be reviewed, along with the answer sheet.
- The student reviews the answers and compiles the grades according to the grade distribution on the answer sheet. The student records their comments in the designated space.
Third: Procedures to be followed after the answers are reviewed by the relevant technical committees:
- If the student's grades are modified, the student will be notified of the outcome of the grievance and the fees will be refunded.
- Memoranda of increase will be approved by the General Examination Chair or the General Examination Vice-Chair. The Ministry of Education and Technical Education is responsible for notifying the Ministry of Higher Education (University Admissions Coordination Office) of the student's revised results.
