Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, participated in the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, at the headquarters of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development in Nasr City, which was held under the patronage and presence of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Al-Wazir welcomed the attendees, expressing his happiness to participate in this celebration on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, which was established on the generous initiative of His Royal Highness, the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Dr. Reda Hegazy praised the strong and well-established relations between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that they are not relations at the political level only, but also at all levels. And the Egyptian Education, and the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, which serve common goals in the field of childhood, not only in Egypt, but in the entire Arab world.

The minister pointed out that the pioneering role played by the Arab Council for Childhood and Development is nothing but a continuation of the path of the leader and founder of this council, His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, which was full of many initiatives, as in 1980 he established " Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organizations”, with the aim of supporting sustainable human development efforts in the developing countries of the world. The late honorable man also had many initiatives that he singled out for the Ministry of Education in Egypt, believing in the importance of education and the need to invest in human wealth, and from These generous initiatives: “The establishment of a number of schools in 1993 after the 1992 earthquake, including a school named after him (Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Preparatory School for Girls) in Cairo Governorate, which he established in solidarity with Egypt, his second homeland, as well as the establishment of the Early Childhood Development Center, in 2003, in the Education City, 6th of October, with the support of the Arab Gulf Program (AGFUND), in which the work is based on the development of attitudes, values, and life skills of children through the best use of technology, arts, and play. It is not compatible with the requirements of the 21st century, and thanks to these efforts, this center has become a distinguished regional center, and a cultural radiance point in the Arab region, for the advancement of early childhood.

The Minister invited His Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal to visit the Ministry of Education, and to visit the Prince Talal Bin Abdulaziz School in Helwan in Cairo Governorate, and the Early Childhood Development Center in the Sixth of October City, to see what His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz has accomplished.

Dr. Reda Hijazi concluded his speech by expressing his sincere thanks and appreciation for this kind invitation, in commemoration of the patron of love and peace, His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who provided a model for the conscious Arab man, who loves humanity, supports dreams, adventures with everything he possesses, the fighter for the sake of others.

In his speech, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, welcomed the attendees, expressing his pride in meeting in beloved Egypt, which has embraced the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, since its establishment in 1987, to celebrate today the achievement of this developmental organization. The region is in its thirty-fifth year, as this edifice was inaugurated on the recommendation of the League of Arab States, and all facilities were provided to him to launch his developmental path for the benefit of the Arab child, extending greetings to the Arab Republic of Egypt as president, government and people, celebrating three and a half decades of care and attention for the Arab child to be a warm and nurturing home The most precious thing I have in the Arab world is the future generation.

His Highness the Prince, with the middle of the fourth decade of the Center, stressed the need for the role of the Council, and the spirit of initiative on the basis of which was launched by the late, God willing, His Royal Highness, the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as the first Arab institution concerned with the Arab child that worked to unify efforts to develop child, and unleash his creativity, looking forward to the future.

His Highness the Amir indicated that, in line with the developmental vision for the future of the child as a sustainable and integrated effort, the Council launched several initiatives to mobilize and unify efforts, including the Charter of Honor for Arab Journalists, the Code of Honor for Workers in Children’s Films, the training of children of disabled mothers, and the initiative to protect street children. The Council also issued Numerous magazines, periodicals and studies, partnerships, and systems of activities and events, all of which work to create an environment conducive to the development of the Arab child and his creative abilities, and to ensure his interaction with modern and future issues, which are now at the forefront of climate change.

His Highness the Emir said: "The council worked with Arab and international support, to turn it into an Arab house of expertise in the upbringing and development of the Arab child, guaranteeing his rights, enriching his awareness, and enabling him to interact positively with the requirements of the future that he will participate in making, so I am pleased to thank the League of Arab States and its Secretary General, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Social Affairs Sector. The University is credited with issuing the recommendation for establishment in 1986, and it continued the path of support and partnership as a strategic ally with the Council and other institutions established by Prince Talal.

His Highness the Prince explained that with the atmosphere of this celebration of the 35th anniversary of the founding of the council, it is a pleasure for him to inaugurate the fourth edition of the exhibition of the biography of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, which is titled "Talal is a history read by generations". As the first Arab UN High Commissioner for Childhood, he devoted his life to building the human being wherever he is, believing that institutional work is the scientific and methodological way to achieve development.

His Highness the Amir affirmed that the main objective of this exhibition is to introduce different societies and inspire future generations that the human impact and giving remain alive and never die. In addition, we hope that everyone who visits it will enrich knowledge; Navigating a legacy replete with many achievements and institutions that have specialized in issues that are keys to achieving sustainable development for our societies, such as education, women's empowerment, combating poverty, financial inclusion, and civil society development, as well as childhood through the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, all of which are sustainable institutions that witness comprehensive human thought and vision.

His Highness the Prince concluded his speech, pointing out that the exhibition at its fourth stop, in Cairo, the capital of the Arabs, has its own specificity. On the one hand, it tells about Prince Talal's relationship with Egypt, civilization, renaissance, science and culture; On the other hand, it gives a lesson about the impact of the initiative and the sense of historical responsibility in providing qualitative giving to Arab societies in terms of education and development, whether material or intellectual, expressing thanks and pride to the honorable audience, and to all those who contributed to the establishment of this council and the rest of our development institutions, and all the partners and experts who They cooperated with us throughout those decades, and all the preparation and implementation teams for this celebration and the activities and events that will follow.

In his speech, Dr. Hassan El-Beblawi, President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, indicated that the Arab Council for Childhood and Development is an Arab non-governmental organization with a legal personality working in the field of childhood. It was founded by His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, in 1987, stressing that this establishment It tells the history of the thought and struggle of His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdul Aziz, may God have mercy on him, and the work strategies to implement his ideas, stressing that the term childhood development was for the founding prince, may God have mercy on him, the correct entry point to achieving comprehensive development in all our Arab countries, for the sake of the honor and dignity of the Arab person. And people are everywhere, wherever they are.

On the sidelines of the celebration, Dr. Reda Hegazy invited Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal to visit the Rehabilitation Center for People with Special Needs in the 10th of Ramadan City to find out about its specifications and the services it provides, stressing that the ministry aims to be a regional center with an important role in serving the Arab region.

The minister pointed out that the ministry aims to develop the educational system, stressing that education is a community issue, so the ministry is interested in establishing and developing Egyptian-Japanese schools, schools of applied technology, Nile schools and official international schools.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also participated in the opening of the exhibition of Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz’s cultural and enlightening march, the positions held by His Highness, his journey of giving, his efforts and his pioneering role in the fields of (early childhood, open education, civil society development, financial inclusion, and women’s empowerment). He also witnessed a documentary film during the celebration. It documents the march of His Highness the late Emir.
