The Minister of Education inspects the high school exams at the STEM School and the 6th of October School for the Blind)

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, monitored the regularity of the high school completion certificate exams for the first round of the 2023/2024 academic year at the Outstanding School for Science and Technology for boys, and the 6th of October School for the Blind on the 6th of October.

Dr. Reda Hegazy began his inspection tour by following up on the progress of exams at the School of Excellence in Science and Technology (STEM) while the students were taking the exam for the subject of the university admission test, “English language.” The minister was reassured of the level of the exam and the clarity of the questions.

The Minister made sure that the students recorded their data on the Babylon sheet correctly. The Minister also directed the supervisors to ensure that the students write the data and review it before signing it to ensure that the data is correct.

The Minister praised the students of STEM schools, noting that they represent a role model for all students, adding that the Ministry is making every effort to support them and provide the opportunity to present many distinguished and creative models in various fields.

The Minister also directed the committee monitors to adhere to the instructions for the exams, and to provide all means of comfort for the students to take the exam in an appropriate atmosphere.

The Minister also inspected the control room inside the school, reviewed the minutes of opening the envelopes of questions, and checked on the extent of compliance with the instructions related to the work of the controls and the management, correction and review committee.

It is worth noting that the total number of students taking the first round exams in the Outstanding Schools of Science and Technology is (1639) male and female students, and the number of students taking the exam in this school is (141) students with (7) exam committees.

After that, Dr. Reda Hegazy was keen to inspect the progress of the first foreign language exam (first paper) at the 6th of October School for the Blind, affiliated with the 6th of October Educational Administration, in Giza Governorate, in order to ensure the regularity of the exam in the school and provide all means of comfort for the students.

It is worth noting that the total number of students in blind schools taking exams is 255 male and female students nationwide.
