The Minister of Education holds a meeting with the directors of education directorates

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held an important meeting this morning with the directors of education directorates across the country via video conference to review the final procedures and arrangements for the final days of the secondary school certificate exams.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Minister; Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up and Supervisor of the Central Administration for the Minister's Office Affairs; Mr. Khaled Abdel Hakam, General Director of Examinations and Head of the Central Administration for Education Directorates Affairs; and Mr. Shady Zalta, Media Advisor and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry.
The Minister began the meeting by expressing his thanks and appreciation to the directors of the education directorates and all participants in the examination process for their efforts to ensure discipline within examination halls. He emphasized the need to intensify field monitoring tomorrow in all examination halls nationwide to ensure the best possible outcome for the final days of examinations, building on the discipline achieved over the previous days.
The Minister also emphasized the need to ensure the highest levels of discipline and organization within examination halls, and to intensify security and precautionary measures to ensure the smooth and unhindered running of the final day of examinations. He emphasized the need to immediately respond to any emergency or negative phenomena in coordination with the central and branch operations rooms.
The Minister also directed the need to provide full support to students throughout the day and to create an appropriate environment for them to take the exams in peace and tranquility.
In a separate context, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the House of Representatives' approval and fruitful cooperation in passing the amendment to the Education Law, which will contribute to achieving tangible steps to develop the education system. He noted that the "Egyptian Baccalaureate" certificate will address the challenges facing students in the current secondary school system and ease the burden on students and their parents. He directed the Ministry and education directorates across the country to launch a comprehensive awareness campaign about the "Egyptian Baccalaureate" certificate system soon, to clarify all details for parents of students entering the first year of secondary school next academic year.
The Minister emphasized the importance of coordination at the school level to spread full awareness of the advantages of the new system, emphasizing that students will have the freedom to choose between enrolling in the "Egyptian Baccalaureate" certificate system or continuing with the current traditional secondary school system, in accordance with their educational inclinations, abilities, and future needs. He emphasized that the goal is to provide multiple paths to high-quality education for all students.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the Ministry places the interests of Egyptian students at the forefront of its priorities and strives by all means to provide high-quality, integrated education that keeps pace with modern developments and meets the needs of the local and international labor market.
