The Ministry of Education announces the launch of high school exams

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announces the launch of the general secondary certificate exams, the first round for the academic year 2022/2023, on Monday, June 12.

The ministry stated that the number of students who sat for the high school exams for this year is 783,025 students, including 276,211 students in the literary section, 391,671 students in the scientific section (sciences), and 98,658 students in the scientific section (mathematics).

The ministry added that the number of system and monitoring committees is 11 in each sector at the level of the Republic, and the number of examination committees is 2098 in each sector at the level of the Republic.

The number of students from the Schools of Excellence for Science and Technology who take the exam this year is 1824, and the number of blind students who take the exam is 255, while 80 male and female students take the exam in rehabilitation centers, in addition to the number of 34 students who take the exam in hospital committees.

It is worth noting that the students take the general secondary exams 2023, in the academic subjects that are not added to the total, on Monday, June 12, where the students take the religious education and national education exams, while on Tuesday, June 13, the students take the economics and statistics exam, then the students take the exams.
