The Minister of Education witnesses the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Communications and the New Valley Governorate

The current generation is a digital generation, and the Ministry is working to develop educational curricula in a way that achieves the desired learning outcomes and in accordance with international standards.
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Major General Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, witnessed the activities of signing a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Communications and the Governorate of the New Valley regarding the implementation of a number of institutional development projects in the governorate, at the headquarters of the governorate’s general office.
At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, welcomed Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Major General Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, and the honorable audience.
Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed that in light of artificial intelligence and digital transformation, the ministry is working to develop educational curricula in accordance with the new education system in a way that achieves the desired learning outcomes, in accordance with international standards, indicating that the current generation is a digital generation, so the ministry tended to integrate digital transformation into education and curricula revision; To take into account the learning outcomes and specifications of the graduates in light of the digital transformation and to keep pace with the global development, so that the teacher and the learner participate in the preparation of educational materials and the teacher leads the educational process, and all this takes place in a smart, flexible, multi-purpose school building.
Dr. Reda Hegazy indicated that, in line with the development of school curricula, the Ministry focused on evaluating students by measuring learning outcomes and major concepts that are based on life skills.
Dr. Reda Hegazy thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for his interest in developing education, and recommending the establishment of 20 schools of applied technology (WE), given the need for graduates who keep pace with the requirements of the local and global market in the field of communications and information technology, noting that the ministry now has 52 technology schools. Applied, and some major countries require graduates of these schools due to the skills they possess.
Dr. Reda Hegazy also thanked Dr. Amr Talaat for the important cooperation between the two ministries, which has become a necessity in light of digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
In his speech, Dr. Reda Hijazi sent several messages, thanking and appreciating the Directorate of Education in the New Valley for its distinguished efforts, and he also congratulated the middle school students on the governor's approval of their results today.
Dr. Reda Hegazy praised the online classes provided to high school students in the New Valley Governorate, and thanked the Directorate of Education in the New Valley for applying the booklet system in the preparatory certificate exams.
Dr. Reda Hegazy also congratulated the New Valley Governorate on establishing the first International Public School "IPS", which is the first of its kind in the governorate.
During the ceremony, the two ministers and the governor watched a documentary film entitled "Tales from the History of Oases" and a poetic paragraph entitled "A Generation's Dream" presented by the talented students of the Directorate of Education in the governorate.
The two ministers and the governor also witnessed a presentation on the School of Applied Technology WE presented by Naglaa Nseir, Head of the Social Responsibility Sector at Telecom Egypt, and a presentation on the geographical portal, which was presented by Esri.
The ceremony also included a presentation by the choir team of the Directorate of Education in the governorate, entitled (Our Education is Our Future), presented by the Gifted Department.
