"Education" issues a periodical book on the follow-up of daily absences and the discipline of the course of studies
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, issued a periodical book regarding the follow-up of daily absences and the discipline of the course of study, in addition to the ministerial decisions issued regarding the regulation of accepting excuses for the absence of students and periodical books issued regarding preparation for the new school year, with the aim of improving the educational process, at various stages of education before undergraduate; To achieve a disciplined academic year.
The periodic book stipulates the alert to take the necessary action towards emphasizing the activation of electronic registration of absence weekly for all educational levels, especially the absence of students of the preparatory and secondary certificates, and periodically notifying parents of the situation of their children’s absence or their failure to continue the school day, in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the organizing ministerial decisions.
The periodic book also stressed the activation of the scheduled quota schedule for teachers of the third secondary and third preparatory grades and taking legal measures against teachers who are absent from them, who are not committed to their presence in the quotas prescribed for them.
The periodic book also included an emphasis on the announcement in a conspicuous place in the school about the tenth article of Ministerial Resolution No. (237) for the year 2004, which states that “a registered student who has not achieved an attendance rate of not less than (85%) of the number of actual school days is not allowed after Reducing the days of absence with an acceptable excuse - by entering the exam as a regular student” to inform students of the importance of attendance.
