The Minister of Education arrives in Assiut Governorate

At the beginning of a visit that includes several governorates, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived today, Friday, at the headquarters of the General Diwan of Assiut Governorate; To follow up on preparations for the new academic year 2024/2025 in the governorate and follow up on the implementation of mechanisms and solutions implemented by the various educational administrations in the directorate to confront the challenges of student density and fill the shortage of teachers.

The Minister was received upon his arrival at the General Diwan of the Governorate by Major General Hesham Abu El-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, Dr. Mina Emad, Deputy Governor, Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, Mr. Accountant Adly Abu Aqil, Assistant Secretary General of the Governor, Brigadier General Hani Mohamed El-Farouk, Military Advisor to the Governorate, Counselor Mohamed Mahmoud, Legal Advisor to the Governorate, Dr. Islam Awad, Media Advisor to the Governorate, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim El-Dessouki, Director of the Education Directorate in Assiut, and Engineer Mustafa Abdel Fattah, Director of the Educational Buildings Authority in the Directorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed his keenness to enhance all means of cooperation with the Governorate to advance the educational process and implement the plans set by the Ministry to improve the quality of education and provide an appropriate educational environment for students and teachers; in order to ensure that the educational process proceeds in a disciplined and attractive manner for students.

For his part, Major General Hesham Abu El Nasr, Governor of Assiut, welcomed Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif and education leaders, stressing that the governorate is striving hard to support the educational process, provide distinguished educational services to our students, and provide a suitable and attractive educational environment.

The Minister of Education and the Governor of Assiut are scheduled to inspect a number of schools in the governorate to follow up on their readiness for the new academic year.
