"Education" announces the opening of admission to STEM schools for the academic year 2023/2024)

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the opening of the door to apply electronically on the official website of the Ministry; To accept students wishing to apply to STEM schools and the School of Outstanding Students in Ain Shams, for the academic year 2023/2024, in the period from 5/7/2023 to 25/7/2023, for students who meet the special requirements for each school, on the following link: http: //emis.gov.eg

The Ministry stated that it was decided to conduct admission tests for STEM schools from Saturday 8/12/2023 until Tuesday 8/15/2023, and the School of Excellence in Ain Shams from Wednesday 8/16/2023 until Thursday 2023. 8/17/2023 for students who meet the special application requirements for each school.

The general conditions for application include that the student be of Egyptian nationality, that the student’s age on 10/1/2023 should not exceed 18 years, and that the student has a certificate of completion of studies in the basic education stage (first round) in the academic year 2022/2023.

The special conditions for submission include that the student’s total score is (274.5) degrees or more, equivalent to (98%) of the total total only. (95%) of the total total only. In this case, the student is required to obtain the final grade in at least one of three subjects: (English - Mathematics - Science).

For students wishing to apply to the School of Excellence in Ain Shams, the total score of the student in the school completion certificate exam in the basic education stage must not be less than a total of (252) degrees or more, with a rate of (90%) for male students wishing to join the Secondary School of Excellence for Boys in Ain Shams.

The Ministry stated that the application procedures for students who registered online for the application form on the Ministry's website and whose data has been saved include the following:
Print the application form immediately after registration with the guardian signing it and submitting it to the Student Affairs and Examinations departments in the educational administration to which the student belongs, along with the documents: “2” personal photos of the student, a true copy of the preparatory certificate or a certified success statement with grades, and a true copy of the Birth certificate and fee payment receipt.

The Ministry indicated that for the groups that did not have electronic registration, and who meet the admission requirements for these schools, they submit their papers manually to the General Administration of Examinations during the electronic application period, and they are the following categories:
Our children's students are abroad
- Students of non-equivalent certificates who have taken a placement test, and students who have mathematical incentive scores and meet the conditions for progression.
-Students whose grades increased after the result of preparatory complaints and became fulfilling the conditions for progression and were not able to register electronically.
- Students who have patents or have applied for it with a proven deposit report from the Academy of Scientific Research and follow the conditions of the application announcement.
- Students who have obtained a certificate corresponding to the Egyptian curriculum or who have obtained a certificate from international schools in the homeland, which are schools whose curricula have been equalized by the Ministry, provided that the conditions for progress are met.
Students of Al-Azhar institutes who obtained a preparatory certificate this year.
Only Egyptian students who meet the conditions for application are allowed to apply for registration or submit papers for applying to these schools.

The Ministry added that students who registered electronically and did not submit their papers to the Student Affairs Department in the educational departments will not be allowed to perform admission tests in schools of outstanding students, and the student will be notified of his seat number and the date and place of holding the test through the official website of the Ministry for students who have actually submitted their papers.
