"Education" announces the opening of admission to STEM schools for the academic year 2022/2023)

The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the opening of the door to apply online on the official website of the Ministry; To accept students wishing to apply to STEM Schools and School of Excellence in Ain Shams, for the academic year 2022/2023, from 7 to 22 July 2022, for students who meet the special conditions for applying for each school, visit the following link: http://emis.gov.eg

The ministry has set the general conditions for progress, which are that the student should be of Egyptian nationality, that the student’s age on 10/1/2022 should not be more than 18 years, and that the student has a certificate of completion of the study in the basic education stage in the academic year 2021/2022.

The special conditions for applying include that the student’s total score should be (274.5) degrees or more, equivalent to (98%) of the total total. The student’s total grades should be (266) or more, at a rate equivalent to (95%) of the total total. In this case, the student is required to obtain a final grade in at least two of the three subjects (English Language - Mathematics - Science).

For students wishing to apply to the School of Outstanding Students in Ain Shams, the student’s total score in the Certificate of Completion Exam at the basic education stage must not be less than a total of (252) or more, at a rate of 90%, for male students wishing to enroll in the Outstanding Secondary School for Boys in Ain Shams.

The ministry clarified that the application procedures for students who have electronically registered the application form on the ministry’s website and whose data has been saved include the following:
Print the application form immediately after registration, with the guardian signing it and submitting it to the Student Affairs and Examinations Departments in the educational administration to which the student belongs, along with the following documents: “2” a personal photo of the student, a true copy of the preparatory certificate or a certified pass statement with grades, and a true copy of birth certificate, and receipt of payment of fees.

The Ministry indicated that for the categories that did not have electronic registration and who meet the conditions for admission to these schools, they are the following categories:
Our children's students are abroad
- Students of non-equivalent certificates who took a placement test, and students who obtained sports motivation degrees meet the conditions for progression.
Students whose grades increased after the result of preparatory grievances and who fulfilled the conditions for progression and were unable to register online.
- Students who have obtained a patent or applied for it with a proven record of deposit from the Academy of Scientific Research and follow the terms of the announcement of progress.
- Students who have obtained a certificate corresponding to the Egyptian curriculum, or who have obtained a certificate from international schools in the homeland, which are schools whose curricula have been equalized by the Ministry, provided that the conditions for progress are met.
Students of Al-Azhar institutes who obtained the preparatory certificate this year.
Only Egyptian students who meet the conditions for admission are allowed to apply for registration or submit papers for applying to these schools.

The ministry added that students who registered online and did not submit their papers to the Student Affairs Department in the educational departments will not be allowed to take admission tests in the schools of outstanding students.
