The Minister of Education and the Governor of Dakahlia inspect the shared elementary school affiliated with the “Decent Life” project)

As part of the visit to Dakahlia Governorate, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, today made an inspection tour of the Joint Primary Class School affiliated with the Sherbin Educational Administration, which is one of the projects of the Presidential Initiative “A Decent Life,” and the Center Family and child development at the clinic in Sherbin.

During the tour, the Minister and the Governor were accompanied by Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din Al-Basal, Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Adl, Deputy Governor of Dakahlia, a number of ministry leaders, and Mr. Nasser Shaaban, Director of the Directorate of Education in Dakahlia Governorate.

The Minister and the Governor began their tour by inspecting the joint primary school, which includes (548) male and female students, with a total number of (13) classrooms, where they inspected a number of kindergarten classrooms, the teachers’ room, and the library room.

The Minister and the Governor also held a meeting with a number of teachers to listen to their proposals to develop the educational system, confront overcrowding in classes, and their vision regarding school discipline regulations and attracting students to schools.

During the meeting, the Minister stressed that success and advancement of the educational process lies in the cooperation of all parties, starting with the teacher, student, and guardian.

Subsequently, the Minister of Education and the Governor inspected the Family Development Center in Al-Ayadiyah in Sherbin, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and which is under the umbrella of the projects of the Presidential Initiative “A Decent Life.” This is with the aim of examining the possibility of using the center as a kindergarten school.
