The Minister of Education congratulates Al-Gharib School for Basic Education in Fayoum after winning the title of "Excellent School" in the fifth session of the Arab Reading Challenge)

Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, congratulated the "Al-Gharib School for Basic Education" in Fayoum Governorate, after winning the title of "The Distinguished School", in the fifth session of the Arab Reading Challenge competition, in the virtual final ceremony that was held this evening.
The Arab Reading Challenge Competition is the largest reading and cognitive initiative of its kind to instill a culture of reading among young people in the Arab world. More than 21 million Arab students from 52 countries, 96,000 schools, and 120,000 reading supervisors participated in its fifth session.
Al-Gharib School for Basic Education won first place, outperforming 96,000 schools that participated in the challenge this year.
