Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, started his visit this morning, Sunday, to the New Valley Governorate, by inspecting the June 30 Governmental Complex, where he inspected the Education Directorate building in the complex, in the presence of Major General Muhammad Al-Zamlot, Governor of the New Valley, and Sayed Abdel Aziz Attia, Director of the Education Directorate. in the governorate.
The minister and the governor listened to a detailed explanation about the area of the building and the equipment it includes. They also inspected a meeting room belonging to the government complex and the June 30 garden of the complex. The minister planted a palm tree in the garden built on an area of 5 thousand square meters.
They also inspected the Kharga Industrial Military Secondary School, where they inspected the solar energy department, and inspected the school's industrial diploma exams.
The minister and the governor also inspected a building for a school that extends over an area of 5,800 square meters and includes 28 classrooms and targets 1,000 students, where the minister directed that the school be an international official “IPS” and with economic expenses, to become the first of its kind in the New Valley Governorate, provided that studies begin with it during the next academic year. 2024/2023.
For his part, Major General Al-Zamlot stated that the school's construction work has been completed. In preparation for its entry into service at the beginning of the next academic year, pointing out that the school includes classrooms, playgrounds and laboratories according to the latest standards and requirements, expressing sincere appreciation and gratitude for the minister’s announcement of the establishment of the first official international school on the land of the province, which is a real breakthrough in the educational system for the children of the province.
Dr. Reda Hegazy and the governor also visited the Egyptian-Japanese school abroad, where they inspected the school theater during the presentation of a musical piece by the students. They also inspected a number of classrooms and reviewed the various student activities. They also opened the school's scientific exhibition, and the minister discussed some scientific experiments with the students.
