The Minister of Education inaugurates the annual technical education exhibition of the Cairo Education Directorate

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, inaugurated the annual technical education exhibition of the Directorate of Education in Cairo at the Advanced Technical School for Maintenance Technology, which includes student projects and works during the 2023 academic year.

This came in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister for Technical Education, Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education and Director of the Operation and Management Unit of Applied Technology Schools, and Ayman Moussa, Director of the Directorate of Education in Cairo.

Dr. Reda Hegazy inspected the general exhibition of technical education products of the Directorate of Education in Cairo, where he reviewed the projects of second and third grade students at the Arab Organization for Industrialization School for Dual Education. The students explained the smart city project that is powered by solar energy, and controlling its devices via mobile phone and the protection system via laser.

The Minister also listened to an explanation about assembling electronic devices (tablets, monitors, cameras) and the students' explanation of the water saving and rationalization device. The Minister discussed the students about their projects and how to benefit from them.

The minister also inspected the departments of ready-made clothes, carpentry, architecture and finishes, restoration of monuments, recycling of broken stones, as well as the pavilion of food products for agricultural schools, food processing, textile and printing, and decoration.

The minister praised the skills of the students and the quality of the products offered, pointing out that technical education schools are able to provide high-quality products in the hands of their students. He also stressed that the ministry is always working to develop the technical education system and change the stereotype about it.

It is worth noting that the annual exhibition for technical education was launched with the participation of 15 educational administrations, where the school of the Arab Organization for Industrialization participated in the exhibition, and from the management of Nasr City Education, the advanced technical school for maintenance technology with students’ graduation projects, and the school of the martyr Ahmed Hussein Fahmy participated in carpentry, architecture, decoration and electricity works, and the general school Majid in the fields of decoration, refrigeration and electricity, and Al-Alsun Hotel School in the field of electronics, presentation and food.

The Sayeda Zainab School of Ahmed Maher School also participated in the field of wrought iron, as well as specializing in decorative metals, wood industries and traditional handicrafts.

And from the Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra management, the Al-Zawiya Al-Hamra technical school participated in various disciplines, such as ready-made clothes, wood industries, and decorative metals, in addition to the participation of the Al-Nuzha administration at Ahmed Orabi School in the work of a car workshop within the technical education workshops, in addition to the participation of the Peace Administration in the two Al-Salam metallurgical schools, the Orman Hotel.
