Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister of Education for Technical Education Affairs, said that the International Schools of Applied Technology is distinguished by the presence of an international partner in the school represented in the Egypt Workforce Project funded by the US Agency for International Development, in addition to industrial partners in various fields, noting that these schools are distinguished by being schools Green, environment-friendly, solar-powered, and energy-saving system. In addition, the International Schools of Applied Technology are smart schools that have technical infrastructure, advanced technology, and apply digital systems.
Megahed added that it is planned to establish 10 international schools for applied technology, and 5 of them have started operating in the 2022-2023 school year. Ahmed Dhaifallah International for Applied Technology in partnership with El-Hajj Deifallah Sons Company and the Egypt Workforce Project, which specializes in the fields of information technology and artificial intelligence, in addition to El-Sewedy International School for Applied Technology in partnership with El-Sewedy Electrometer Company, which specializes in software development, and Fathallah International School for Applied Technology, In partnership with Fathalla Markets and the Egypt Manpower Project, which specializes in the field of modern trade, the Misr International Insurance School of Applied Technology in partnership with the Misr Insurance Company and the Egypt Manpower Project, which specializes in the field of marketing for financial services.
For his part, Dr. Amr Basileh, Head of the Central Administration for the Development of Technical Education and Director of the Operation and Management Unit for Applied Technology Schools, said that there are a number of conditions that must be met by applicants to join the international schools of applied technology work team, to be from government or government schools in specific languages and educational departments and directorates. Each school has the file to open the door for admission on the website of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, and the applicant must have a high qualification appropriate to the field of specialization, be proficient in the use of computers and the English language, and with regard to teachers, the applicant must be no more than 48 years old, and be He has no less than 7 years of experience in the field of teaching the specialized subject. As for administrators, the applicant must be no more than 52 years old, and he must have no less than 3 years of experience in the management of educational institutions.
Basileh stressed that the process of selecting the International Schools of Applied Technology team will be carried out with the utmost accuracy and according to specific criteria and conditions. Applicants from the teachers must pass the English language and computer tests, theoretical and practical specialization tests, as well as, a specialized English test for subjects taught in English. , in addition to presenting a 15-minute mini-teaching presentation and a personal interview to join the International Schools of Applied Technology team.
