Today, Thursday, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, visited Aswan Governorate, during which he opened two schools, inspected first and second grade exams, and laid the foundation stone for a school complex in the governorate.
The minister was accompanied during the visit by Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, Ghada Abu Zeid, Deputy Governor, Major General Yousry Salem, Assistant Minister for the Affairs of the General Authority for Educational Buildings, and Abdel Karim Lotfy Abdel Karim, Director of the Education Directorate in the governorate.
Dr. Reda Hegazy began his visit to the governorate with the opening of the Abd al-Jalil Hassanein Preparatory School affiliated to the Aswan Education Administration, after completing the total replacement of the school, which has an area of 1956.8 square meters, and accommodates 454 students, with 12 classrooms, in addition to a hall for fields, a library, and a developed laboratory. computer lab, and a multi-purpose hall.
The Minister also inspected the progress of the preparatory certificate exams in the school in engineering, as he reassured the students of the exam level, and in this context, the Minister directed to create a suitable environment for students to perform the exams, and also directed to adhere to all preventive and precautionary measures in order to preserve the health and safety of all students and workers.
The Minister also inspected the activities room in the school, stressing the need to pay attention to school activities to reveal the artistic talents and skills of students, and the importance of the role of school theater in re-transmitting and developing the artistic spirit in schools in general and schools for people of determination in particular. To create a scientifically, artistically and literaryly educated generation, the minister also directed the preparation of a theatrical show at the directorate level in Aswan Governorate, in preparation for choosing the best play at the level of educational directorates and honoring those in charge of it.
After that, the minister planted a number of trees inside the school as part of the 100 Million Trees initiative, which aims to plant 125,000 shade and fruit trees, in addition to palm trees in the governorate.
The Minister of Education and the Governor of Aswan also inaugurated the Mohamed Abdel Moaty Primary School, after completing the total replacement of the school, which has an area of 2070.7 square meters, and accommodates 332 students, with 16 classrooms, including 4 classes for kindergarten, and 12 classrooms for the primary stage. The school includes a viewing lab, science and computer halls, a multi-purpose hall, and a library.
During the visit, the minister and the governor inspected the progress of the preparatory certificate exams at the school and reassured the students of the level of the exam.
The Minister also inspected the kindergarten halls in the school, stressing the Ministry's interest in the early childhood stage, as this stage represents the golden years of investment in the child. children to learn.
In this regard, the minister spoke with a class teacher about the importance of her role at this stage, which requires the availability of an appropriate educational environment for this stage and giving children confidence; To explore their abilities and talents and allow these abilities and talents to emerge and grow.
The minister witnessed many diverse paragraphs for the students, as he listened to a number of patriotic songs and songs from the national heritage of the governorate, and a solo melody by one of the students.
After that, the Minister and the Governor inspected the committees of Ahmed Taha Hussein Secondary School, to follow up the exams for the first and second secondary grades, where the students of the second secondary grade (sports science section) take the mechanics exam, and the history subject (for the literary section). Appropriate time and space for essay questions in mathematics.
The Minister also inspected a training hall for teachers, inside the school, equipped with modern equipment for training teachers, stressing that the Ministry is working to enhance the capabilities and skills of teachers, as there is no development of education without upgrading and developing the teacher professionally, indicating that the education development strategy aims to have teachers with professional skills. Within the framework of the visit, Dr. Reda Hegazy laid the foundation stone for the project to establish the Hassaya Schools Complex, in the Hassaya area, which provides an educational service for Aswan students from kindergarten to secondary school. A classroom, including 6 classes for the kindergarten stage, and 18 classrooms for the primary stage, in addition to 9 classrooms for the preparatory stage, and 9 classrooms for the secondary stage. The project also includes laboratories, and classrooms and computer rooms.
