The Minister of Education continues his surprise tours by visiting two schools in the Asmarat district

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, continued his surprise tours this morning by visiting two schools in the Asmarat district in Cairo; This is to monitor the implementation of instructions and adherence to decisions regulating the educational process, and to ensure that the educational process is proceeding in a disciplined manner for students.
The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.
The Minister began his tour by visiting the "Long Live Egypt 5" School, affiliated with the Maqtam Education Administration in the Asmarat district, which has 3295 students, and includes students in the first, second and third grades of primary school in addition to the first and second grades of middle school in the morning period, while it includes the fourth, fifth and sixth grades of primary school and the third grade of middle school in the evening period.
The Minister inspected a number of classrooms in the school, where he was keen to follow up on the students' level in reading, writing and mathematics. He also reassured the students' commitment to the class notebooks and school assignments, as well as the weekly assessments, as well as emphasizing the need to maintain the cleanliness of the classrooms, the regularity of teachers and commitment to attendance, and intensifying daily field follow-up by the administration and the educational directorate to follow up on the implementation of treatment programs to improve reading and writing among students.
Following that, the Minister headed to "Long Live Egypt 3" School affiliated with the Maadi Educational Administration, which has 4,250 male and female students, and includes students in the first, second and third grades of primary school in the morning period, and students in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades of primary school in the evening period.
The Minister inspected one of the classrooms of the second year of middle school during a review class for the science subject, and held a dialogue with the students about their benefit from explaining the lesson.
The Minister also inspected one of the school's classrooms during the Arabic language lesson, where he praised the students' level and the teacher's performance. He also inspected some classrooms during the weekly mathematics assessments, and checked on the students' academic level and commitment to the class notebooks and homework.
As part of following up on the progress of the educational process at the school, the Minister directed the school principal to follow up on the registration of attendance and absence.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed his continuation of conducting surprise and intensive tours of various schools across the country to follow up on the regularity of the educational process.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif met with a number of parents, where he listened to their opinions on the progress of the educational process in the two schools.
