"Education" and "Central for Organization and Administration" announce the details of the central competition to contract with 30 thousand assistant teachers
Dr. Tarek Shawky: To apply for the teachers competition next July 2, on the government job portal
Tariq Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, announced the start of applying for the contracting competition with 30,000 assistant teachers, starting from 2 to 24 July, on the government jobs portal website https://jobs.caoa.gov.eg/ of the Central Agency For the organization and administration, through which the Agency manages all stages of the competition, and which will be the link between the Agency and the applicants, to notify them of the stages of the competition.
This came during a press conference held by the Ministry of Education and the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, today, at the Leadership Development Center for the government sector of the authority, in the presence of Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, head of the device.
Dr. Tarek Shawky confirmed that the competition comes in response to the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, to appoint 150,000 teachers to support this vital sector of the state that serves Egypt’s 2030 strategy, and to improve the quality of the educational process, noting that the ministry needs teachers with different thinking and with professional and skill capabilities commensurate with With the development train.
Regarding the preparatory procedures for the competition, the Minister mentioned that the President directed a study of the needs of teachers, then the Central Agency for Organization and Administration studied human resources planning in light of the data sent by the Ministry, and coordination was made between the Ministries of Education, Finance, Planning and Economic Development; In order for the financial cost to be taken into account in the draft of the state’s general budget, and to be submitted to the Prime Minister; To announce the contracting of 30,000 assistant teachers annually for a period of 5 years; To meet the needs of the development of the education sector
The minister added that the ministry had set the conditions for the competition, so that the Central Agency for Organization and Administration would carry out its affairs and cooperate with the ministry, the Supreme Council of Universities and a number of specialized experts to prepare question banks for the competition, and to complete the preparation of the preparatory procedures for the competition, until the approval of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers was issued on 6/22/2022. Amending the provisions of the executive regulations for Chapter Seven of the Education Law, issued by Prime Minister’s Decision No. 428 of 2013, to enable the Central Agency for Organization and Administration to conduct the competition. 187 jobs, while the total number of jobs to be announced for the post of assistant teacher (class teacher) is 14,813 jobs.
Dr. Tarek Shawky indicated that the opening of the door for applications is done online on the website of the government jobs portal of the Authority during the period from July 2 to next July 24.
For his part, Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, thanked President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, for his support for all administrative reform efforts, the most important of which is the necessity of evaluating applicants for jobs in government institutions according to the best international standards, which the agency translated in establishing and approving The Center for Capacity Assessment and Competitions, which enabled the Agency to implement the principles of governance, transparency, integrity and justice in all stages of the progress process.
He also thanked Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, for his interest and support for all administrative reform procedures, and for amending the provisions of the executive regulations for Chapter Seven of the Education Law, issued by Prime Minister Resolution No. 428 of 2013, to enable the agency to conduct the competition.
Al-Sheikh said that the announcement of the competition before opening the door for submission comes within the framework of giving applicants the opportunity to prepare the required documents in the event that they are not available to them, noting that opening the door to apply online on the website of the government jobs portal of the Authority provides a number of application hours of 552 hours, in Whereas, the usual progression in similar competitions provided 50 hours of progress, which is exceeded by the electronic submission by more than 11 times.
He pointed out that the apparatus will conduct the competition for each governorate separately, and once the governorate is completed, it will send the result to the Ministry of Education to implement its affairs, and it will continue to send the rest of the governorates, respectively.
The head of the agency sent a message to applicants, that the only point of contact between the agency and applicants is the government jobs portal, and the applicant must be keen on the application process with the utmost accuracy and ensure that the required documents are identical with the documents uploaded to the portal, and follow the portal to know the next stages of submission The terms of submission should also be adhered to and all required documents should be attached only, stressing that the device has electronic mechanisms to detect any data fraud process in the documents, and warning applicants not to follow anyone who claims to be able to succeed, as all stages of the competition system at the device are electronic and do not accept any Human intervention at any stage.
In this regard, the Sheikh thanked the parliamentarians who assigned an employee in their citizen service centers, a computer and a "scanner" to assist the applicants in the competitions recently organized by the agency.
Regarding the content of the electronic exam, Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh explained that the exam consists of several axes that include behavioral competencies, the Arabic language, one of the foreign languages that the applicant states that he is fluent in, the computer, and general information, in addition to the specialization test. Thanks in this regard to Faculties of education in universities, professors and experts who helped the apparatus update its question banks in all these axes.
During the press conference, the conditions for applying for the announced kindergarten assistant teacher position were announced, which includes having the Egyptian nationality.
