Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, witnessed the graduation ceremony of the seventh batch of students of the Egyptian International Nile Schools for the academic year 2022/2023 at the Cairo Opera House.

This came in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Megahed, Deputy Minister for Technical Education, Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technological Development, Major General Mohamed Sami, Head of the Educational Projects Support Fund, Eng. Ashraf Rashad, First Deputy and Secretary-General of the Future Nation Party and Leader of the Parliamentary Majority in the House of Representatives, Dr. Sami Hashem, Chairman of the Education and Scientific Research Committee in the House of Representatives, Brigadier General Tariq El-Baz, Head of the Central Administration for Investment and Finance, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Misr Educational Management and Managing Director of the company, and Dr. Amani El-Far, Director of the International Nile Certificate Unit and Member The delegate and CEO of Misr Company for Educational Management, Dr. Sherine Hamdy, Advisor to the Minister for Administrative Development and Supervisor of the Central Department for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office, Mohamed Attia, Head of the Central Administration for Education with Expenses, Mohamed Abdel Hady, Head of National Institutes, and a number of ministry leaders, parents of students, a number of businessmen and owners of private schools, and employees of the Nile Education System.

Dr. Reda Hegazy said in his speech: "What he witnessed today of the students' performance reflects the ministry's role in emphasizing character building and learning, not just collecting grades. Nile Schools have achieved this goal," indicating that we are preparing our children for the future by possessing life skills such as talents, building personality and assuming responsibility, adding that this educational model achieves Egypt's vision 2030 by graduating batches of students who are competitive.

The Minister expressed his happiness with these schools, pointing out that the Ministry seeks to expand their numbers, and that the political leadership encourages this type of education that achieves learning outcomes, comprehensive growth, mental capabilities and distinct skills, which makes us proud of this type of education.

Dr. Reda Hegazy pointed out that the Nile Schools apply the Egyptian curricula according to international standards that take into account the Egyptian identity in all its sources, materials and cultures, and this is one of the important challenges, and it is granted an international Egyptian certificate that we must promote inside and outside Egypt, explaining that the ministry now has 14 schools and seeks to expand in these schools.

And the minister continued, "We encourage the owners of private schools, the National Languages, to open Nile School classes from now, after accreditation or approval from the Nile Unit at the Ministry of Education."

The Minister concluded his speech with thanks and appreciation to all those in charge of the Nile International Schools system, thanking the students, the Nile Unit, the Misr Educational Company, and all those in charge of this distinguished product that we are proud of.

The minister congratulated the students, the graduates of Nile International Schools, wishing them success in their university and research studies, and that they contribute to bringing about the desired development and advancement through what they have learned and acquired in terms of scientific research skills and critical and creative thinking skills.

The minister also urged the students to study what they like, and asked parents to encourage their children to study what they prefer so that excellence, creativity and competitiveness can be achieved.

For his part, Brigadier General Tariq El-Baz, Head of the Central Administration for Investment and Finance, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Misr Educational Management Company and Managing Director of the company, said: "Today we celebrate the graduation of the seventh batch of students from the Egyptian Nile International Schools, which is considered a source of pride for all Egyptians." The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Misr Company for Educational Management and the Managing Director of the company explained that after that, this type of schools that apply the Egyptian International Nile Certificate system was established, so that we are proud today that we have reached 14 schools spread throughout Egypt under the umbrella of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education represented by the Nile International Certificate Unit, which trains educational staff in those schools and provides them with curricula and all elements of the educational system and monitors performance and raises it, as well as supplying schools with tests of all kinds.

Brigadier General Tariq Al-Baz extended all greetings and appreciation to the biggest supporter of the system, Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and the leaders of the Egyptian government, each in different positions, in their concerted efforts for one goal, which is to upgrade the system and expand schools internally and externally.

The ceremony included a documentary video of the stages of development of the Nile Schools project, in addition to artistic performances, a patriotic singing performance presented by a number of students, a ballet show, and a piano performance.
