The Minister of Education participates in a ministerial panel discussion entitled "Accelerating Exploration of Ideas That Go Beyond Horizons"

Dr. Reda Hegazy participated in a ministerial panel discussion entitled "Accelerating Exploration of Ideas Beyond Horizons", which was held within the framework of the World Government Summit 2023, which is being hosted in Dubai from February 13 to 15.

Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed, during his intervention in the session, that the Egyptian state aims, through the development of the education system, to prepare students, develop their ability to compete, and keep pace with future jobs in light of the digital transformation that is proceeding with rapid steps worldwide.

The minister added that Egypt is among the few countries that maintained the continuity of the educational process during the spread of the “Covid 19” virus and its repercussions that necessitated the closure of schools in various countries of the world, thanks to the application of technology in distance learning, noting that the Egyptian education system currently includes digital content beginning with From the fourth primary grade to the third secondary grade, it was implemented through partnerships with international bodies.

Dr. Reda Hegazy continued that students at the secondary level were handed a tablet containing various educational materials and various sources, and electronic exams were conducted on the tablet for 1.3 million students in the first and second grades of secondary school, stressing that the Egyptian state aims to integrate technology into the education process with the aim of achieving education. Digital that makes students competitive in the future.
