"Education" participates in a regional training workshop to build the capacity of educators to support inclusive and comprehensive learning policies in the Arab region
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education, in cooperation with UNESCO, organized a regional training workshop to build the capacities of educators to support inclusive and comprehensive learning policies in the Arab region.
The workshop was attended by experts from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the Emirates, Sudan, Jordan, Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, Syria, Palestine, Mauritania and Yemen.
Dr. Akram Hassan, Head of the Central Department for Curriculum Development, emphasized the interest of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in building the educational, vocational and academic capacities of teachers to support inclusive and comprehensive learning policies, pointing to the importance of concerted efforts to support this segment of society, and that they can add a lot to human thought if How well we trained and qualified them appropriately.
He referred to the interest of the Egyptian constitution, as an article in the constitution devoted to this group and the necessity of caring for them educationally and culturally, as well as integrating them with other citizens in implementation of the principle of equality and equal opportunities, explaining that Egypt's vision 2030 has been concerned with creating an appropriate, flexible and appropriate educational environment for all groups of integration.
The workshop was attended by Mr. Fadi Yarak, Senior Adviser for Education in the Arab Countries at the UNESCO Regional Office, Dr. Alaa Subay, Regional Adviser for Disability Affairs, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Maqushi, Assistant Director General of the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charitable Foundation, and from the Ministry of Education, Dr. Nadia Abdullah, Head of the Central Administration for Teachers Affairs, and Dr. Hassan Gawish, Director of the General Administration for Promotion Authority at the Professional Academy for Teachers, and Dr. Sahar Al-Alfi, Director General of the General Administration of Special Education.
