Minister of Education meets Japanese educational cadres nominated to work in Egypt)

As part of the Egyptian state's keenness to enhance the educational partnership between Egypt and Japan, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met during his visit to Japan with a number of Japanese educational cadres nominated to work in Egypt as supervisors of the Egyptian-Japanese school system, in addition to a number of candidates for cooperation with the Egyptian International Leadership Center for Empowering People with Special Needs in the city of Tenth of Ramadan.

The meeting was attended by Ms. Nevin Hamouda, Advisor to the Minister for Strategic Relations and Supervisor of Egyptian-Japanese Schools, Dr. Hanem Ahmed, Advisor to the Minister for International Relations and Agreements, and Ms. Amira Awad, Coordinator of the Ministry for United Nations Organizations.

The Minister stressed during the meeting that Egyptian-Japanese schools are among the closest educational models to the Japanese model, as they rely on building the Egyptian personality according to modern scientific foundations, with a focus on consolidating values, discipline, and developing life skills among students.

He also pointed out that bringing Japanese supervisors to work within this system reflects the state's commitment to providing high-level education that keeps pace with schools in Japan.

The Minister explained that the first batch of Japanese experts has already joined work in Egypt, and that these new candidates will constitute an important addition to support the educational process within Egyptian-Japanese schools, as well as in developing education and rehabilitation programs for people with special needs in cooperation with the Egyptian International Leadership Center for Empowering People with Special Needs in the city of Tenth of Ramadan.

He also pointed out that this step comes within the framework of the Ministry's keenness to benefit from Japanese expertise in developing Egyptian education, especially in the field of developing students' personalities and enhancing their life and social skills, adding that these supervisors will be sent to Egypt in the near future.

During the meeting, the Minister welcomed the candidates and gave them a detailed explanation of the Egyptian-Japanese schools project and the Egyptian International Leadership Center for Empowering People with Special Needs, and the importance of the role of Japanese supervisors and experts in ensuring the sustainability of the project and maintaining the closest and best model of Japanese education.

He also stressed that building the student's personality and developing his life skills is one of the main goals of Egyptian-Japanese schools, and that the presence of Japanese experts contributes fundamentally to achieving this vision.

The Minister pointed out that these candidates will be attached to the first batch of Japanese supervisors who are already working in Egyptian-Japanese schools, as the number of Japanese experts currently present in Egypt reaches 12 experts within the first batch.

The Minister also stressed that this step comes within the framework of the Ministry's keenness to benefit from Japanese expertise in developing Egyptian education, especially in the field of developing students' personalities and enhancing their life skills.
