Minister of Education Visits "Our School" Pavilion at Cairo ICT Exhibition
Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, visited the "Our School" pavilion at the Cairo ICT exhibition held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center today.
The Minister was accompanied on his tour of the pavilion by Dr. Ahmed Daher and Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Ministers of Education, and Osama Kamal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Trade Fairs International, the organizer of the Cairo ICT exhibition and conference.
During his visit, the Minister reviewed the latest digital education solutions offered by the "Our School" system, which aims to empower students and teachers with modern educational tools enhanced by technology and artificial intelligence, available for use both inside and outside Egyptian schools.
The Minister also reviewed the "Faheem" AI application, which allows students to access simplified and immediate explanations of lessons, in addition to personalized study plans and live voice interaction capabilities.
He also reviewed the "Our School Plus" platform, which has achieved widespread adoption since its pilot launch, registering over 5 million subscriptions and 2.2 million users. The platform provides interactive content for all grade levels, along with sample questions, review materials, and assessment tests to support students in their exam preparation.
The Minister also reviewed the "Egypt Schools League" project, which aims to discover sporting talent in football and basketball. The league is implemented through three competitive stages, with all competitions and results managed through a dedicated online platform.
The pavilion also featured a presentation by the Japanese company "Sprex," the Ministry of Education's Japanese partner in teaching programming and artificial intelligence to first-year secondary school students via the "Kiryo" platform.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the integrated interactive environment within the pavilion, which showcased the Ministry of Education's interactive digital development initiatives. He emphasized the Ministry's continued commitment to supporting and expanding partnerships that enhance the Egyptian education system and open new horizons for students and teachers towards a more advanced and higher-quality education.
The minister also pointed out that cooperation with the Japanese "Sprex" Foundation in providing programming and artificial intelligence material represents a qualitative leap that reflects the Ministry of Education's keenness to develop students' capabilities and skills according to the best international standards in line with the professions of the future.
