Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met today with Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, Minister of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Human Capacity Development Program, on the sidelines of the “Human Capacity Initiative” conference, held at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh. Dr. Reda Hegazy expressed his happiness at participating in the “Human Capabilities Initiative” conference, thanking Minister Yousef Al-Benyan for the kind invitation.

Dr. Reda Hegazy explained that in light of digital transformation, industrial revolutions, and artificial intelligence, jobs will disappear and new ones will appear, and therefore there must be different learning outcomes and a focus on the learning process and future skills, pointing out that the importance of this conference lies in enhancing the readiness of human capabilities to keep pace with changes. In this context, Dr. Reda Hegazy stressed that the strategy of the Egyptian Ministry of Education 2024/2029 emphasizes preparing students and arming them for the future by studying future sciences such as artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, languages, and major concepts of academic subjects, and enabling them to produce knowledge, think critically, and confront and solve problems. They also discussed supporting coordination and integration mechanisms in aspects of education and training between the two brotherly countries, in a way that keeps pace with modern technical and professional changes.

The two sides stressed the importance of the “Human Capacity Initiative” conference in providing the opportunity to unleash the potential of human capabilities, and stimulating international cooperation in this field, in addition to exchanging experiences and expertise to contribute to the development and development of human creativity, and providing innovative solutions in the educational fields that are compatible with 21st century skills. .

Dr. Reda Hegazy also met on the sidelines of the opening session with Prince Dr. Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Mishari Al Saud, Executive Director of the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation, where the meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of educational development.
