The Minister of Education arrives in Dakahlia Governorate
In a new stop in his ongoing tours in the various governorates of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, arrived this morning at the headquarters of the General Office of Dakahlia Governorate, to discuss ways to develop the educational process and confront obstacles, the most prominent of which are student densities and the inability of teachers.
Upon his arrival, the minister was received by the governorate’s general office, Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, Dr. Ahmed Anwar Al-Adl, Deputy Governor of Dakahlia, Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din Al-Basal, Deputy Minister of Education and Technical Education, a number of the ministry’s leaders, and Mr. Nasser Shaaban, Director of the Directorate of Education in the governorate.
During the reception, Mr. Muhammad Abdel Latif expressed his keen interest in strengthening all means of cooperation with the governorate to improve the educational process and overcome the challenges that stand in the way of developing the system and controlling and regularizing the educational process.
For his part, Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, welcomed the visit of the Minister of Education and Technical Education, praising the efforts of Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif and his continuous tours to address the challenges on the ground with the aim of improving the quality of education and providing an appropriate learning environment for students.
Major General Tariq Marzouk said: “Dakahlia Governorate has witnessed during the past ten years a significant expansion in the number of schools that were established and developed,” stressing the importance of cooperation between the governorate and the ministry to continue these efforts to achieve further progress and success in developing the educational process.
The minister and governor are scheduled to hold a meeting with the directors of education directorates, directors of educational departments, and a number of school principals in the governorate. The minister and governor will also inspect a number of schools in the governorate.
