The Minister of Education receives the delegation of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, met today with the delegation of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, headed by Dr. Hassan Al-Bilawi, Secretary General of the Council, and the accompanying delegation, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides in the field of education.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the attendees, referring to the close cooperation between the two sides. He also praised the efforts made by the Arab Council for Childhood and Development in the field of early childhood, including the establishment of the Early Childhood Development Center in the Education City on the sixth of October 2003, which was established by His Highness. Royal Prince Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud (may God have mercy on him), President of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development at that time.

The minister emphasized the close relationship between Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and cooperation in many fields, including pre-university education, praising the efforts made by the Arab Council for Childhood and Development in the field of early childhood.

For his part, Dr. Hassan Al-Bilawi, Secretary General of the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, expressed his happiness at the meeting, stressing the distinguished relations between the Ministry and the Council, and explained that this visit aims to deepen relations between the two sides and increase joint cooperation.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to increase cooperation and activate the project to upgrade the Early Childhood Development Center and improve school readiness and life skills in kindergarten and the first three grades of basic education.

The delegation praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education to improve the educational process in Egypt.
