"Education" participates in the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education
According to the directives of Dr. Reda Hijazi, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education participated in the activities of the World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education, which was held in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, with the participation of about 1,500 participants from different countries of the world.
The Ministry's participation, represented by Dr. Randa Shaheen, Head of the Central Administration for Public Education, embodied the state's keenness on competitiveness and sustainable professional development, and the Ministry's commitment to promoting early childhood development as one of the most important aspects of comprehensive development for children.
The World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education, hosted by the Republic of Uzbekistan and organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), aims to reaffirm the right of all children to access early childhood care services and sound education through renewed commitment and investment in Goal 2.4 ( SDG 4.2) of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals which calls for ensuring “all girls and boys have access to quality early childhood development and care and pre-primary education until they are ready for primary education”.
