Minister of Education inspects the German Evangelical Secondary School in Giza

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, visited the German Evangelical Secondary School in Giza today, as part of his follow-up to the German education system following his official visit to the German capital, Berlin, during the period from January 28 to 31, with the aim of discussing the activation of mechanisms for expanding Egyptian-German schools in Egypt.
The Minister was accompanied during the visit by Dr. Amr Basila, Head of the Central Administration for Technical Education Development, and Ms. Mona Ayoub, the Minister's Advisor for Egyptian-German Schools, and was received by Mr. Christian Dern, Director of the School.
The Minister stressed the depth of fruitful and constructive cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany in all files of the educational process, praising the German schools in Egypt and the educational projects that contribute to the continuous development of the educational process.
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif expressed his happiness to visit this prestigious school, which has a history of more than 150 years, noting that the German Evangelical School is famous for its high educational level, which was achieved thanks to the efficiency of teaching and the discipline of its educational system, stressing that this school is considered a successful model among the bright educational models in Egypt.
During the visit, the Minister inspected a number of classrooms and reviewed the educational system at the school, as well as the playgrounds and distinguished educational activities practiced within the school, appreciating the school's efforts in applying the latest educational and technological methods, which contributed to significantly improving the level of academic achievement of students.
The Minister also expressed his admiration for the initiatives launched by the school, such as the initiative to combat bullying and cyberbullying, and encouraging students to solve problems in innovative ways, praising the initiatives that promote the values of good morals and respect for others inside and outside the school.
During the visit, the Minister met with a number of students who confirmed that they greatly benefited from the educational programs provided at the school, and their aspiration to continue their university education successfully.
During the visit, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed that the ministry seeks to expand the number of Egyptian-German schools in Egypt to reach 100 schools, which will represent a qualitative shift in Egyptian education, stressing the close cooperation with the German side to implement the project and ensure the successful achievement of its goals.
