As part of the visit to Alexandria Governorate, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, today made an inspection tour of the “Ashraf Al-Khawaja Public School” and “Martyr Lieutenant Colonel Sherif Mohamed Omar Preparatory School for Girls” affiliated with the East Administration. Alexandria.

This came in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Iman Sharaf, Director of the Governor’s Office for Public Relations, the ministry’s leaders, and Dr. Arabi Abu Zeid, Director of the Directorate of Education in Alexandria Governorate.

At the beginning of their tour, the Minister and the Governor visited the Martyr Ashraf Al-Khawaja Public School, affiliated with the East Alexandria Educational Administration, which includes a total of 1,873 students.

The Minister and Governor inspected the kindergarten halls, a number of classrooms, science and computer laboratories, the library, and business models of student projects at the permanent exhibition.

During the visit to the school, the Minister and the Governor held a meeting with a number of teachers, stressing that the Ministry attaches great importance to supporting the teacher, and is keen on his participation in all decisions and opinions related to the educational process, as well as meeting his needs, which is reflected in the performance of his role in the educational process as required. In order to provide distinguished education to our students, which is a great responsibility for the teacher.

The Minister and the Governor were keen to listen to the proposals and opinions of teachers at the school about ways to develop their performance, advance the educational process, activate the role of the teacher in the classroom, restore his prestige, and the discipline list. The meeting also discussed the most prominent challenges they face during the school year.

After that, the Minister and the Governor went to inspect the Martyr Lieutenant Colonel Sherif Muhammad Omar Preparatory School for Girls, affiliated with the East Alexandria Educational Administration, where the total number of female students is 1,424 students. The Minister and Governor inspected the school’s classrooms, the library room, the science laboratory, and the computer.

The Minister was also keen to hold a meeting with teachers at the school to hear their opinions on the mechanisms that were recently announced to confront student densities and fill the teacher shortage, as the teachers praised these decisions that represent realistic solutions to chronic challenges.

The meeting also discussed ways to activate educational activities, how to attract students to school, their opinions about teachers’ quorums, and their suggestions about improving the educational process.
