The Minister of Education issues a periodical book on preparing for the coming winter season in educational facilities and schools)

Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, has issued a periodic book in addition to the periodical books issued regarding preparation for the new academic year 2022/2023.

The periodical stressed the interest of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in following up the progress of the educational process in schools and educational facilities, and the ministry’s constant endeavor to take all insurance measures against any potential social or environmental risks that might threaten the security and safety of students and teachers.

On the occasion of preparing for the coming of the winter season, and given the heavy rains that many governorates of Egypt witness during that period of the year, which may reach the extent of torrential rains in some governorates, the Ministry has directed the directorates of the directorates to take the following necessary measures:

Coordination with the Governor and the executive authorities in the governorate; To develop appropriate plans in preparation for the coming of the winter season and its repercussions with the implementation of the necessary protection projects to avoid the risks of precipitation and torrential rains expected during the coming period, and to coordinate with the Governor in the event of declaring a state of emergency in the governorate, and the necessary need to disrupt the study to confront climate changes, and the expected wave of rain during the coming days, According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority bulletin, and coordination with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, and the Civil Protection Authority to purify rain drains and torrents, and provide cars for suctioning water pools if they are concentrated inside, and the exits of educational institutions and schools; To facilitate pedestrian movement and traffic.

As well as coordination with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity in the governorate; To ensure the safety of electrical connections, and isolate lighting poles near educational facilities and schools.
