Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received Eng. Hatem Nabil, head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The meeting discussed several measures related to implementing competitions to fill assistant teacher positions and enhancing cooperation between the two sides on this vital issue.

During the meeting, Eng. Hatem Nabil presented the agency's proposal to prepare waiting lists of teachers who successfully passed the electronic exam administered by the agency but were not included in the required number of appointments due to their ranking falling below the target number in each governorate. The duration of each waiting list would be one year, starting from the announcement of the results of the electronic exam. This proposal allows for the possibility of using these applicants later, according to their final ranking, in the event that a successful applicant fails to pass the remaining tests and training sessions following the electronic exam stage at the agency, as part of the same competition.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the proposal, emphasizing its importance in achieving optimal utilization of advanced competencies and saving the time and effort required to conduct new competitions when additional needs or vacancies arise as a result of candidates failing to complete the recruitment process. The Minister also commended the breakthrough achieved by Engineer Hatem Nabil in the competition process, particularly with regard to the disciplined speed and adherence to the highest standards of accuracy, which has become a hallmark of recruitment mechanisms and the selection of the best qualified personnel to work within the education system.

The Minister explained that this approach reflects the state's commitment to the stability of the educational process and the Ministry's efforts to meet its teacher needs efficiently and in a timely manner, especially in governorates requiring various specializations.

For his part, Engineer Hatem Nabil, Head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, emphasized that this initiative comes within the framework of the agency's commitment to enhancing employment efficiency in the government sector and providing an accurate and up-to-date database of qualified candidates ready to fill positions within the central competition system. All recruitment processes for new entrants to the state's administrative apparatus are conducted in accordance with Civil Service Law No. 81 of 2016, with full commitment to transparency, discipline, and fairness.

In the context of ensuring the greatest degree of fairness and transparency, Engineer Hatem Nabil announced that an agreement had been reached between the two parties to implement this proposal starting with the results of the Assistant Teacher Competition (Mathematics), to include those who passed the electronic exam but were not nominated for appointment in their governorates, either because the required number of candidates was not met or because they did not choose to work in other governorates. He explained that the agency will announce on the government jobs portal website and in the media the number of candidates it will need from the waiting list if this procedure is resorted to, explaining that each competition has its own associated waiting list.
