The Ministry of Education organizes the “Top Students” competition for the third year of secondary school
Under the patronage of Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, the General Administration of Secondary Education organizes a competition for top students in the general secondary stage for the third year of secondary school at the level of the official public secondary schools in the Republic for the academic year 2023/2024, in coordination with the General Union of School Students of the Republic and in cooperation with the central administration. For General Education, the Central Administration for Curriculum Development, and the National Center for Educational Examinations and Evaluation.
The Ministry explained that the implementation of the Top Student Competition takes place at the main headquarters of the Student Union in Agouza, and the directorates are divided into five sectors as follows: The first sector includes the directorates of (Cairo, Giza, Qalyubia, Menoufia, Sharqia, and Gharbia), and the liquidation date is from Saturday 2/10/2024 to Monday 2024. 2/12. As for the second sector, it includes the directorates of (Alexandria, Marsa Matrouh, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh, and Damietta), and the implementation date is from Monday 2/12/2024 to Wednesday 2/14/2024. As for the third sector, it includes the directorates of (Dakahlia, Ismailia, Port Said, Suez, North Sinai and South Sinai), and the implementation date is from Saturday 2/17/2024 to Monday 2/19/2024. As for the fourth sector, which includes the directorates of (Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Fayoum and New Valley), the implementation date is from Monday. 2/19/2024 to Wednesday 2/21/2024, and finally the fifth sector, which includes the directorates of (Qena, Luxor, Aswan, Sohag, and the Red Sea), and the implementation date is from Saturday 2/24/2024 to Monday 2/26/2024.
It is worth noting that the final liquidation will take place for two days, from Tuesday, corresponding to February 27, 2024, to Wednesday, corresponding to February 28, 2024, and on the third day, corresponding to Thursday, February 29, 2024, the closing ceremony will be held under the auspices of the Minister of Education, in the presence of the Ministry’s leaders, and at the invitation of Messrs. Directors of the directorates of the teams to participate in the final elimination, where the winning teams at the republic level will be awarded cash prizes. Shields will also be distributed to the directorates participating in the final elimination, as well as scarves to all students participating in the final elimination.
