Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, received Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh, head of the Central Agency for Organization and Administration, in order to receive the results of the competition of 30,000 teachers for the positions of assistant teachers (kindergarten and class teacher), which was implemented by the agency.
Dr. Reda Hegazy thanked and appreciated the Central Agency for Organization and Administration for the good implementation and management of the competition, and the efforts made in a manner that guarantees the achievement of justice, integrity, transparency and equal opportunities among the applicants, thus contributing to the selection of the best applicants for the competition.
Dr. Reda Hegazy instructed the concerned authorities in the ministry to take all necessary steps regarding training those who succeeded in the competition, and to fulfill the contracting justifications.
Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh thanked President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for directing him to meet the needs of the education sector in terms of human resources by appointing 150,000 teachers distributed over 5 fiscal years, at a rate of 30,000 teachers per year, to support this vital sector of the state that serves Egypt’s 2030 strategy. and improve the quality of the educational process.
Dr. Saleh Al-Sheikh reviewed the numbers of successful people in the competition for the positions of assistant teachers (kindergarten and classroom teacher), which amounted to 28,176 applicants, or 94% of the total target of 30,000, as the number of 140,825 applicants applied, distributed over 3 competitions, which are (a kindergarten assistant teacher appointment competition, and a competition Appointing a class assistant teacher, in addition to another supplementary competition for the kindergarten competition), the conditions initially applied to 101,771 applicants, of whom 94,961 applicants attended the electronic test, of whom 28,176 passed, distributed among 14,530 classroom assistant teachers, and 13,646 kindergarten assistant teachers.
Al-Sheikh explained that the process of testing the 94,961 applicants for the exam took place in 75 working days (examination), with 1,125 exam hours. He indicated that the door for submission to the competition was opened from 2 to 24 July 2022, on the government jobs portal website, as well as The agency carried out the electronic test work at the Capabilities Assessment and Competitions Center affiliated to the agency... pointing out that the competition was implemented according to the governorate to target the deficit rates of teachers in the governorates.
