As part of his commitment to field monitoring of various schools across the country, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, continued his inspection tours today by conducting a surprise visit to a number of schools in Gharbia Governorate. The visit aimed to monitor the regularity of the educational process, student attendance, and the delivery of textbooks for various educational levels.

The Minister was accompanied during his tour by Dr. Ahmed El-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up and Supervisor of the Central Administration for Minister's Office Affairs.

The Minister began his tour by inspecting Santa Girls' Preparatory School, affiliated with the Santa Education Directorate, which has 547 students.

During the tour, the Minister inspected several classrooms, checked on student density and attendance rates, and monitored the academic achievement of students in one of the second-year preparatory classes. A dialogue took place with the students about their learning experiences at the school. The discussion also touched on the study of religious education, with the Minister emphasizing the importance of studying religious education as one of the most important subjects for instilling values ​​and morals in students.

At the conclusion of his visit to the school, the Minister praised the students' performance, appreciating the efforts of the school principal and teachers, and emphasizing that their dedication is a fundamental pillar of the educational system's success.

The Minister then headed to the Ammar Bin Yasser Official Language School, affiliated with the Santa Education Directorate, which has 1,200 students. During the tour, the Minister monitored student density and attendance rates, the delivery of textbooks to students, and the maintenance work being carried out at the school.

The tour also included a visit by Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif to Santa Secondary School, which has 1,841 students. The Minister observed a theatrical rehearsal by two students explaining the baccalaureate system and its advantages. The Minister also listened to the opinions of several students regarding the baccalaureate system.

During the discussion with the students, the Minister also discussed programming and artificial intelligence, emphasizing that this course will be taught through the Japanese "Kiryu" platform. Students will receive a username and password to access the platform. He noted that studying this course qualifies them to earn an international programming certificate upon completion of the exam.

At the conclusion of his tour of the school, the Minister directed the need to maintain the cleanliness of the classrooms and the painting work carried out as part of the maintenance work. He emphasized the importance of instilling the values ​​of discipline and responsibility among students.

The Minister's tour also included Sadat Secondary School for Girls, affiliated with the East Tanta Education Directorate, which enrolls 1,699 students.

During the visit, an open dialogue took place between the Minister and a number of students about the curricula and examination system of the Egyptian Baccalaureate. They expressed positive interaction and presented ambitious visions for their educational and professional futures.

The Minister also spoke with the students about the importance of keeping pace with technological developments, emphasizing that technology has become an integral part of various aspects of life, and that adapting to it and acquiring its skills is essential for a better future. This is reflected in the Ministry of Education's commitment to cooperating with Japan to teach programming and artificial intelligence to first-year secondary school students.

As part of his tour of the school, the Minister met with a number of teachers, where an open discussion took place about the baccalaureate system and the most prominent challenges facing the school's education system.

The Minister then headed to Al-Galaa Secondary School for Boys, affiliated with the East Tanta Education Directorate, which has 938 students.

During the tour, the Minister reviewed the student density and attendance rates and directed the need to adhere to the scheduled weekly assessments.

An open dialogue was also held with the students regarding their choice between the baccalaureate and secondary school systems. The students posed a number of questions, which the Minister answered with a detailed explanation of the differences between the two systems, highlighting the advantages of the baccalaureate system in providing fewer subjects and multiple exam opportunities.

The Minister also emphasized the importance of studying programming and artificial intelligence through the Japanese Kiryu platform, and the skills it provides students with, enabling them to develop diverse job opportunities in the future.

The Minister concluded his tour with a visit to Abdullah bin Al-Zubair Mixed Primary School, affiliated with the East Tanta Education Directorate, which enrolls 2,300 students.

During his inspection of the classrooms, the Minister monitored the student population and students' receipt of textbooks. He emphasized the importance of ensuring students' academic performance.

At the conclusion of his inspection tour of Gharbia Governorate, the Minister affirmed the Ministry's commitment to providing all necessary support to school principals and teachers to enhance the educational process in the governorate.
