The Ministry of Education organizes a ceremony honoring the winners of the Christian Culture
In the presence of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, in cooperation with the Coptic Orthodox Church, organized today, Tuesday, a ceremony honoring the winners of the Christian Culture Competition, which was held at the Bishop Royce Theater in St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbasiya.
In a speech by Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Mahmoud Fouad, Director General of Religious Education Development, the Minister praised the close cooperation between the Ministry and the Coptic Orthodox Church in the field of teacher training and sponsoring student activities.
Dr. Mohamed Fouad added that the Minister appreciates the Christian Culture Competition, which is an appreciation by the Ministry for the great role played by Christian culture in Egyptian civilization, and a pride in the efforts of the Coptic brothers in joint work and building the nation.
For his part, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of Mark, welcomed the great efforts made by the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in building the Egyptian person and consolidating the noble human values in his personality by upgrading and developing the subject of religious education and developing the skills of those responsible for it.
During the ceremony, which was attended by men of the Coptic Church, leaders of the Ministry of Education, students, teachers, and parents, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II honored the winning students.
