Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, inspected the main electronic correction center for high school exams, as part of his follow-up on the progress of the high school completion certificate exams (first round) for the academic year 2023/2024.

During the visit, the Minister was accompanied by Dr. Ahlam Al-Baz, supervisor of the technical committees and grading for the high school completion certificate exams.

The Minister stressed the Ministry’s keenness on the interest of students, and giving each student his right to the correction process, noting that the electronic correction process is carried out carefully to ensure justice and equal opportunities among students.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also reviewed within the center the various procedures and stages that go through the process of electronic correction, review and verification of answer sheets, noting that all the details in the Babel Sheet answer sheet or the answer sheet to essay questions are subject to careful review many times, whether with regard to the student’s data and seat number or Regarding the answer choices in the Babylon Sheet or the answers on the essay question answer sheet.

The Minister inspected the control works and all the units within it, including scanning the data and reviewing and auditing the data, to determine the procedures used to verify incomplete or incorrect student data on the answer sheets, as the data in this case is subject to many procedures related to review and auditing to confirm the student’s data and choices in The answer sheet is provided by an integrated system and multiple steps to ensure the achievement of the principle of justice.

The Minister also reviewed the electronic correction steps that take place if the student puts an “X” on the wrong answer and shades the correct answer, as the electronic correction system issues a warning to the observer on the system to review the answer and confirm the choice of the correct answer that the student highlighted and chose.

The Minister praised the efforts of the distinguished cadres based on the correction process, their experience in this field, and the remarkable cooperation between all sectors.
