Dr. Tarek Shawky, Minister of Education and Technical Education, participated in the annual meeting of the Supreme Council of Culture, headed by Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, to vote on the names of the winners of the state prizes in arts, literature and social sciences, in its various branches (encouragement, excellence, discretion, Nile, Nile for Arab creators). .

The convening of this meeting comes in the presence of the members of the Council who are entitled to vote to select the winners of the state prizes. The meeting is mainly devoted to voting on granting the various state prizes - Nile, discretion, excellence in the three main areas: Arts, Letters and Social Sciences from the names that were nominated by The examination committees that have worked over the past months, in addition to approving the nominations for the state incentive awards, which were approved by their examination committees in the announced branches.

The State Incentive Award is granted to encourage intellectual production in the fields of arts, literature and social sciences, and the value of the award is fifty thousand pounds. Arts, Letters and Social Sciences, the value of the award is two hundred thousand pounds and a gold medal.
