During his meeting with the central administration of curricula: Dr. Reda Hegazy: Providing electronic links to the curricula from the fourth primary to the third middle school
Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting today with the Central Administration of Curricula, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Daher, Deputy Minister for Technological Development, and Dr. Akram Hassan, Head of the Central Administration for Curriculum Development, to follow up on the development of curricula; Within the framework of the plan to complete the development of the educational system.
Dr. Reda Hegazy confirmed that the Ministry of Education and Technical Education continues to develop the educational curricula in accordance with the new education system in a manner that achieves the desired learning outcomes, indicating that the Ministry began preparing early to develop the curricula of the preparatory stage, by forming specialized committees in all fields to set the general framework. Curricula, in accordance with international and global standards, that contribute to building the Egyptian character, and are appropriate to the requirements of the times and in line with the state's strategy for sustainable development.
The Minister of Education indicated that, based on the state's direction towards digital transformation in all fields, the ministry has moved to experiment with digital transformation in education, so that the student becomes more inclined to learning and innovation, explaining that the ministry is working to integrate technology into the educational program, through many means.
In this context, the minister directed the provision of electronic links in the curricula from the fourth grade of primary school to the third grade of middle school, starting from the next academic year, with the aim of deepening and enriching understanding among students, and providing more explanation and clarification through these links for various academic subjects, in parallel with Maintaining basic concepts, without prejudice to learning outcomes.
During the meeting, the minister directed the follow-up and study of field reports on the development of new curricula, opinions and proposals, in order to ensure continuous development and upgrading of the education system in Egypt.
During the meeting, the completion of executive procedures for the development of curricula for the primary stage was followed up, and the implementation of these procedures was reviewed.
