Dr. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a meeting at the ministry's headquarters in the New Administrative Capital today, Wednesday, with experts from the Central Administration for Curriculum Development to follow up developments in the implementation of the curriculum development plan.

At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Reda Hegazy welcomed the attendees, stressing the Ministry's continuation in developing the educational curricula based on what was done during the previous years, according to the new education system in a way that achieves the desired learning outcomes.

Dr. Reda Hijazi directed, during the meeting, to complete the development of curricula and to finish developing the curricula of the sixth grade of primary school early, with the need to focus on major concepts in textbooks without prejudice to learning outcomes and the development of students' thinking skills, as well as the importance of providing electronic links to curricula from the fourth grade. Elementary to the third middle school, starting next year, to deepen and enrich understanding among students.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also stressed the importance of setting the general framework for the preparatory stage curricula based on the development that took place in the primary stage, taking into account international standards in designing the curricula.

The minister pointed to the importance of integrating digital technology and artificial intelligence into the educational system in light of the digital transformation, by making training and digital educational materials available on the ministry’s website, and benefiting from the ministry’s digital stock to develop students’ scientific research skills, as well as the importance of educational platforms, and promoting the activation of training periods. Educational viewing in schools.

The minister also directed, during the meeting, to add some activities, starting from the primary stage, including introducing students to the principles of the ancient Egyptian language "hieroglyphics", with the aim of promoting the dissemination of the culture of learning about the ancient Egyptian civilization.

Dr. Reda Hegazy also stressed the need to provide activities that achieve the principles of the presidential initiative, companions "capable of differently" through the practical application of sign language skills, after the Ministry circulated guiding boards to all schools in the Republic with the most frequently used signs for deaf and mute students accompanied by a QR code that shows the movement of the sign. .
